CLARK, PAMPANGA – After months of planning and designing, Team Gie wins 1st place in the Beepo White Christmas Decorating Contest.

The festive holiday spirit embraced the atmosphere at Beepo Clark as team members showed off their artistic prowess in creating mesmerizing Christmas decors out of recycled materials. The Contest aimed to promote teamwork, bonding and give everyone the opportunity to showcase their creative and innovative talents.

The teams utilized broken and recyclable materials, such as bottle caps, cardboard, umbrellas and even twigs to craft Christmas lanterns or parols, snowflakes, wreaths and even Christmas trees.

The teams were given 2 months to plan, design and execute their ideas. While some opted for a “nice and simple” setup, others went “big and hard” in their design game. From little Christmas villages to actual workstations turned to Christmas “apartments,” the Beepo team members truly made the contest quite a visual delight and experience.

Three judges were invited to score and critique the design of each team basing from their creativity, overall presentation, as well as percentage of recycled materials used. The judges were Mr. Edwin Pingol, Artist and Director of Culture and Arts Council of Angeles City, Ms. Fritzie Guarino, Interior Designer and a graduate of New York Institute of Art & Design, and Tricia Garrett, the lovely wife of Beepo’s GM, Matt Garrett. The judging took place last November 23 and was aired live through the Beepo Careers Facebook page.

The winners were announced during the General Assembly. The 3rd place was awarded to the Real Estate team who turned their workstations into a Christmas village. Coming in at 2nd place is Team Kat who wowed the judges with their gold and white geometric designs. Bagging the coveted 1st place and winning the 5,000 pesos cash prize is Team Gie. The team created a chandelier using a broken umbrella, a Christmas tree using shredded old magazine pages, and a Christmas village using old cartons. Their design displayed their creativity and ingenuity in turning waste materials into Christmas decor magic.
