Property Management Assistant (PropertyMe/PropertyTree Experience)

Overview of the role:

This job role’s responsibilities are supporting the day to day operations of a property management business or department by supporting the team with administrative tasks, inspecting property conditions and coordinating maintenance work. Also, this role requires to have an experience in PropertyMe/PropertyTree software.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive applications from prospective clients and verify if requirements are complete
  • Communicate with tenancy applicants and provided references
  • Screen prospective tenants in databases
  • Follow up on tenants with arrears
  • Produce and issue notices of breach
  • Schedule routine inspections
  • Receive repair and maintenance requests
  • Liaise or make follow ups with tradespeople or suppliers
  • Identify tenants with approaching end of contract
  • Produce and issue lease renewals
  • Database clean up by merging bios or deleting duplicates
  • Ensure communications are all responded to within a timely manner
  • Daily coordination of completed tasks with property manager
  • Manage multiple software applications
  • Assist in inspection management
  • Attend to ad hoc admin tasks from time to time when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous Australian real estate property management experience
  • Experience with Property Me or Property Tree software
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps
  • Honest, reliable with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work independently as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to new software and administrative tasks effectively
  • Know when to have fun but are aware when to become professional and appropriate
  • Able to achieve deadlines and show good attention to detail
  • Can handle corrections and have self-responsibility
  • Able to manage time and prioritize workload according to business requirements
