Admin and Accounts Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The role serves to deliver excellent administration & accounts service to allocated customers. This role also acts as a daily point of contact between function and site personnel
  • Oversee Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions
  • Strive to continuously enhance service delivery by all team members
  • Coordinate follow-up activities with all team members
  • Ensure accurate data is captured by team when entering data in CRM and applicable financial software.
  • Work with Finance team to support and report as required
  • Verify follow-up of customer requests
  • Ensure consistent execution of the end to end processes in compliance with company policies and finance timelines.
  • Know the company’s mission and values with respect to HS&E non-negotiable behaviours and performance
  • Participate in company’s Safety first culture and report all unsafe acts and observations
  • Ensure duty of care obligations are adhered to and you participate in the workplace in a safe manner at all times
  • Participate in training to obtain the appropriate skills and experience safely perform role
  • Adhere to company’s policies and procedures at all times
  • Act in accordance with the company’s vision and values and positively contribute to the company’s positive culture
  • Comply with all directions and plans to ensure corporate governance
  • Comply with all statutory obligations
  • Undertake any other duties, responsibilities and directions as requested
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
  • At least 1 to 2 years similar work experience
  • Proven track record in Accounting and Admin functions
  • Strong employment history working with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial analytics 
  • Experience with any Accounting System and CRM
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver results and balance competing priorities to produce quality outcomes
  • Strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Leadership and Mentoring capabilities for encouragement of career progression
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives
  • Excellent computer skills
