Infrastructure Solutions – Sales CSR (Admin and Quotations)

Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
Sales Support
  • Provide support to Account Executives and Account Managers in achievement of sales targets 
  • Timely response to all internal and external queries
  • Accurate and timely preparation of quotations using Portal & other applications as necessary
  • Assist with sales proposal preparation
  • Assist with input of Tenders as required
  • Preparation of Customer price lists and distribution
  • Portal pricing input and pricing maintenance
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with all stakeholders ie., external & internal clients, to ensure quality customer service ensuring long term strategic customer relationships that exceed customers’ expectations
  • Assist Account Executive/Managers with forecasting, account planning updates, and debtor management
  • Provide Escalation point for backorder issues and order fulfilment queries
  • Work with Account Executives and Account Managers for forward order placement
  • Provide specialised customer and portal reporting as required
  • Manage returns expeditiously
  • Attend trade and customer events where relevant
  • Source, quote and supply product to achieve maximum competitive advantage and revenue to the company and understand suppliers of preference
Administration 
  • Possess an excellent understanding of all relevant stock levels and work with Logistics to have stock allocated effectively
  • Maintain customer specific process and customer profiles and templates
  • Ensure all customer details are added for the company’s events
  • General administrative duties, including set up and organisation of catered functions, and ensuring room booking and clean-up is finalised

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sales Administration or Customer Focused support role, in an ICT environment
  • High Administration skills with experience in engaging with internal and external clients
  • Quoting experience, including price lists (GP/Margin/Revenue)
  • Experience handling backorders/suppliers processes
  • General IT literacy
  • Experience with MS Office suite products, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly 
  • Effective negotiation and problem resolution skills to achieve positive outcomes
  • Demonstrated work history of ethical business practice
  • Integrity in dealing with customers, vendors and peers
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet targets and deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in any of the following CRMs would be an advantage: SharePoint, MS Dynamics, Salesforce 
  • Relevant Industry Certifications would be highly desirable
  • Experience or knowledge in Accounts Receivable, debtors and creditors would be an advantage
