Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Prepare Statement of Advice or other client advice documents including modelling of financial objectives using financial planning software
  • Work closely with Clients and Advisers to discuss strategy objectives and structure
  • Attend client meetings and make appropriate notes
  • Assist in preparing cash flows and projections 
  • Assist in developing strategies and prepare strategy documents
  • Prepare risk insurance and annuity quotes when needed
  • Liaise with Financial Advisers, Accountants, Fund managers, Solicitors, banks when needed
  • Provide accurate reliable research to Advisers
  • Completion of compliance documents and audit requirements
  • Maintain working knowledge of financial planning issues, strategies and continual professional development 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in Accounting, Business Management or related
  • At least 2 to 3 years Australian Paraplanning experience
  • Experience in producing Statement of Advice, Financial Planning and Strategies, Portfolio Management, CRM Management
  • Experience with XPlan software
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and software
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
