Purchasing Assistant

Overview:

We are looking for candidates to join our purchasing team to assist with purchasing tasks. You must have advanced skills in excel and can both speak and write fluent English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Process supplier’s shipment invoices
 Process goods receipt in
 Upload PO/data to our ERP system
 Lodge shipment claims with vendor and maintain register accordingly
 Follow up any pending info required to complete the above tasks
 Ensure the correct procedures are followed
 Escalate issue to supervisor when required

Requirements:

 Advanced Microsoft Excel and numeracy skills
 Currency exchange concept
 Intermediate MS Outlook / Word skills
 Understanding of goods importing logistic process, ideally with previously experience
 Some experience in purchasing process, preferably in spare parts industrial
 Knowledge of operating in an ERP system
 Understanding of inventory
 Good communication and interpersonal skills
 Attention to detail with a high proficiency level for data entry
 Ability to work individually or as part of a team
 Understand priority
 Being organised
 Ability to work to schedules and meet deadlines
 Basic knowledge of Skype and other remote desktop applications
 Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
 Confident and is not afraid to ask questions.
 Can make sound judgement and can identify when to escalate.
