Repairs and Maintenance Support (Petrol Station Experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Arranging attendance and completion of urgent/business critical maintenance within the region on a 24/7 basis
  • Facilitating the attendance and completion of medium priority work within agreed time frames
  • Diagnosing issues through appropriate investigation
  • Reviewing and validating cost, obtaining quotations as required and ensuring that the process is clearly adopted
  • Appointing, monitoring and supervision of subcontractors delivering maintenance, renovations and general upgrades/ building works across Australia
  • Responsible for ensuring work is undertaken in compliance with relevant statutory requirements
  • Following process around the utilisation of the CMMS to ensure all data is captured and reported appropriately
  • Developing and proposing Planned Maintenance programs that will deliver a commercial and/or operational benefit to the company
  • Ensuring sites are at all times compliant with and to relevant statues, regulations and standards
  • Managing various work orders and projects relating to Repairs and Maintenance, small works and other facilities related repairs
  • Working with and positively impacting the Facilities Standards Team. 
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including Franchisees and Commission Agents
  • Provide direction to subcontractors and ensure work is delivered as specified in the work order
  • Troubleshoot and quickly escalate any delays or issues arising from any work orders
  • Review, inspect and sign off completed work orders assuring quality and specification are met
  • Ensure WH&S is maintained on-site to ensure a safe working environment
  • Liaising with internal Property, Real Estate, Construction, Signage and Repairs and Maintenance staff
  • Auditing all supplier quotations to enable processing for payment upon completion of works
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or associated discipline 
  • In depth knowledge of Maintenance Connect System preferred, or ability to quickly learn new computer systems
  • Must have experience in repairs and maintenance in Petrol stations
  • Strong computer skills and experience in working with a CMMS or similar
  • Experience in multiple site facilities/building maintenance desirable
  • Trade background, engineering or building qualifications desirable, but not mandatory
  • Previous exposure to Petroleum and/or convenience retail industries will be highly regarded
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office, email
  • Commercial savvy with strong numeracy skills and the ability to interpret pricing and quotations
  • Competent in reading building plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Proactive team player with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to build relationships and network internally and externally
  • Flexible to work on weekends and also be on call after hours when needed
  • Must be willing to work in Clark, Pampanga
