Sales Development Support/Appointment Setter (Day Shift)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Directly report to the Reporting Manager and work closely with Sales Consultants
  • Help the business secure quality appointments from an abundant over supply of inbound and online inquiries
  • Make sure there are plenty of high value opportunities stacking the team calendar
  • Minimum 3 appointment converted to sales per week with a target of 5+
  • Minimum 50% appointments to hold up to proceed with the consultation
  • 30-50% conversion (our Sales staff are killer and average 50-70% currently)
  • Confirm appointments and follow ups (Simple follow up system provided)
  • Maintain records of booked appointments, calendar events and relevant documents
  • Respond to the direction, strategies and needs of assigned sales team to achieve optimal results
  • Can understand the company’s value proposition and be able to have a conversation with a decision maker to set appointments for the sales team
  • Provide best effort in meeting appointment setting targets and metrics
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 1 to 4 years Appointment Setting experience
  • Relevant previous sales experience, no fear of phones, conversation, interactions or overly sensitive - easily able to take control
  • Above average skills with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, data management, calendars, time zones, maps and general Australian/Local geography
  • Basic Admin skills
  • Strong and confident communicator with both prospects and internal staff to reach highest outcomes in the most efficient manner
  • Must be, self-driven to achieve results, easily trained and able to deliver with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills, time management, strategic planning ability and attention to detail
  • Previous solar sales or proven track record in a comparable role is highly desirable
