Sr. Digital Marketer


This is an exciting opportunity to work with a people centric, customer focused business. Your role will include working with the management team on the development and roll out the client’s marketing plan.

Ideally you will be qualified in Marketing with experience in the small scale business industries. The Sr. Digital Marketer's role is to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the company services and products. This role requires an in depth knowledge of and proficiency in graphic designing, web advertising, social media and web development is a must. Familiarity with a wide range of field practices, concepts, and procedures. You must have strong management skills and truly
understand all marketing values and how to increase centre profitability.

You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be confident to liaise with senior management and business clients, with a proven track record in preparing and managing a budget and delivering projects on time. The ability to problem solve will be crucial as well as a genuine and enthusiastic customer service approach. It is essential for you to have a passion for digital/social marketing and full understanding of social media platforms and community networks including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and how they can
be deployed. Computer proficiency in online content management systems and Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Word; Working knowledge of HTML; CSS and Photoshop a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy & execution:

• Responsible for developing creative concepts and content for a number of online and offline
promotional channels to ensure all messages are bold, strategic, timely, and on-brand.
• Developing, managing and designing layouts of communications such as presentations,
newsletters, event support materials, research papers, basic logo, web banners and brochures.
• Execute online promotional tactics in support of marketing, communications, and outreach
strategies, including live-tweeting, public contests, surveys, photo and video-sharing.
• Develop basic website with content using ready to go website development platforms like wix, squarespace, bigcommerce, shopif etc. along with web hosting.
• Responsible for creating innovative content and campaigns for the website, social networks, mobile app and emails.
• Technical SEO skills/ background
• Maintain online content on a day-to-day basis and respond to inquiries and comments from all social media channels in a timely fashion (willingness to collaborate with staff to resolve reader concerns/questions).
• Develop creative new ideas to integrate online initiatives.
• Work with the senior management to define the theme and content for major promotional campaigns.
• Write and develop monthly e-newsletter and other promotional emails. Oversee the e-newsletter production process and editorial calendar using mail chimp.
• Stay current on emerging news topics by actively exploring online publications. Write online news releases and media advisories for all of our online platforms.

Analytics & reporting:
• Develop and maintain online guidelines, web style guide and training resources.
• Consolidate metrics and provide ongoing reporting and analytics to senior level management, and provides guidance for program optimization.
• Analyze current best practices in integrated media campaigns as well as future directions made possible by emerging technology.
• Benchmark digital activities against those of our peers in the industry; improve digital marketing strategy and tactics to “get ahead of the curve”.
• Use analytic tools to track, monitor and optimize digital presence and campaigns based on historical performance.
• Prepare qualitative and quantitative analysis reports and dashboards to inform various audiences of our collective performance in all dimensions of digital marketing efforts, showcasing the impact achieved for our clients.

Education / experience requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 3 or more year’s relevant business experience in a digital marketing or advertising agency environment.
• Experience implementing Digital Marketing strategies in B2C & B2B sales environment.

Certifications / licensure requirements:
• Google Adwords and Google Analytics Certifications Preferred.
Computer & technical skills:
• Graphic design skills desirable
• Responsive design website development experience preferred.
• Proven competency with social media, email marketing strategy, website strategy development, and web analytics.
• Proven grasp of all Paid Search mediums including remarketing, display & content, mobile, video
• Experience creating and developing digital marketing best practices within an organization.

Communication skills:
• Ability to secure clear direction and maintain visibility as strategy is executed
• Ability to take high-level vision and translate down to executable actions
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in an environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
• Strong sense of organization and attention to detail are required

• Strong ability to prioritize and balance competing requests for support
• Ability to work independently once strategy and direction is identified, while maintaining strong visibility for the organization.
