System Engineer (Active Directory, Office 365, MS Azure, DevOps, AWS)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Daily management and support of Microsoft Office 365 services and technologies
  • Management of on-premises and Azure environments for authentication and authorization
  • Management of Microsoft Office 365 security across implemented services when needed
  • Management of Azure and AWS Services virtual machines
  • Scripting automation for setup, configuration, compliance and reporting
  • Provide support and problem resolution to end-users and other teams collaboratively
  • Provide solutions through the implementation of new technologies and drive improvements through change to existing implementations 
  • Active Directory, Network and Windows Server management and administration including
    • Server Patching
    • Group Policy Management
    • Management of Terminal Server environments such as Citrix and Parallels
    • Server monitoring and proactive incident resolution
  • Monitor systems and networks for issues or potential problems and provide appropriate resolutions
  • Basic Linux administration
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Experience in handling Customer Service IT-related steps 
  • Experience in 2nd/3rd Level Support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure and Network Administration including
    • Group Policy
    • Azure and AWS Virtual Machines
    • IP Networking
    • Firewalls
  • Demonstrated experience in Azure and AWS and ideally automation tools, such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
  • Background in DevOps such as Java, Python, AWS, Azure, Powershell, Linux (PowerShell, Scripting and Automation)
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Apps and Windows 10
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven track record delivering tangible results
  • Good at handling conflicts, with empathy to the customers and eagerness to learn
  • Takes ownership and knows when to escalate
  • Team Player
  • Relevant Industry Certifications would be an advantage
  • Ideally with experience Systems Administration
