Technical Application Support Specialist (ASP.Net, IIS, Cloud Environment)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deployment and Configuration of software releases and patches.
  • Designing and Executing SQL scripts
  • Modifying, deploying and testing of SSRS reports
  • End to end management of inbound functional and technical support queries, progress tracking and reporting functions
  • Ownership of the lifecycle of all calls, ensuring calls are closed as efficiently as practical with the highest level of customer satisfaction possible
  • Maintain helpdesk call logging system and ensure accurate recording and updating of information
  • Ensure all interactions with customers are always conducted in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintain a high standard of documentation including system documentation, user manuals and procedures as required
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
  • Technical experience in Windows Server
  • Experience in Web Applications particularly IIS and ASP.NET
  • Cloud solution delivery and cloud infrastructure design, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Technical experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and above, including a sound knowledge in Relational Database design.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) including Report Writing.
  • Experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPN) or other remote access tools/services
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and use initiative
  • Experience with Crystal Reports optional
