Technical Support Officer Level 1

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answering phone calls and from clients
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Logging, tracking and updating the customer's queries within our ticketing system
  • Monitor the Service Desk tickets and action Service Requests raised by clients for PC’s, printers, networks and servers and escalate the requests to the relevant engineer where necessary
  • Monitor and respond to system health-checks on the customer's environment for any potential problems
  • Setting up new users/new devices and managing existing users
  • Provide desktop, laptop, and other user device support including configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations
  • Manage the problem from start to finish
  • Develop and update client documentation
  • Testing new technology
  • Troubleshoot Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange Servers, Windows 8/10, Microsoft Office and Office 365
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Degree in BS in Information Technology or related
  • At least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Office 365 functionalities 
  • Good general knowledge of technology basic networking, software, and hardware
  • Experience on any Ticketing system would be an advantage
  • Ability to escalate when needed
  • Ability to ask probing questions and explain solutions
  • Resourceful and Tech Savvy
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Self-motivated and with a strong sense of accountability
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ideally with Customer Service or Help Desk experience
  • Must be willing to work in Clark, Pampanga
