Pay-Per-Click Specialist Responsibilities:
As a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) or Paid Ads Specialist, you manage the day-to-day paid search programs of our clients to efficiently direct relevant demand to their digital environments. You also execute, test, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum Return on Investment (ROI) for clients paid search campaigns. Moreover, you track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns. Additionally, you manage campaign expenses and budget guided by various performance based metrics and business focus.

Pay-Per-Click Specialist Duties:

  • Manage paid search and social campaigns
  • Promotion of paid content across social channels (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • Build and manage high volume and complex paid search accounts
  • Make recommendations for optimisations and paid strategy based on data and trend analysis
  • Optimise paid activity regularly
  • Manage budgets effectively and create budget management systems
  • Review overall ROI performance
  • Check quote metrics (timeframe, deliverability, competitiveness)
  • Review and analyze Google Ads and Facebook metrics (bids, budgets, positions, settings, quality score, first page) and Ads, as well as the ROI of Enabled Campaigns to make effective suggestions for improvement
  • Troubleshoot Google warnings and suggestions
  • Generate reports regularly

Pay-Per-Click Specialist Skills and Qualifications:

  • Provide PPC experience managing PPC campaings across Google, Yahoo and Bing, as well as knowledge on other aspects of digital marketing (SEO, Display and Paid Social)
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Ads, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, Web Trends)
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g. Double Click, Click Equatins, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ingite)
  • Experience with A / B and multivariate experiements
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraint
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Experience with insights platform (e.g. DashThis)
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEM / PPC / Paid Ads
  • Ability to implement and adhere to and meet deadlines and project manage multiple campaigns
  • Curious and have a passion for digital marketing innovation and ability to constantly reinvent and test new approaches and new technologies
